My montage made from footage shot a few years ago on my trip to The Deep in Hull.
So I’ve finally chosen the niche for my first site. It might not be one that fits all the different criteria of the guru’s, but I have a feeling that I might be able to make it work for me. Even if it doesn’t do really well it’ll give me the experience of starting one up and going through the motions of gaining backlinks, all the different types of marketing that I can do, and also testing out different themes/designs/ad … Continue reading
I’ve been looking at a few different sites, trying to find inspiration for ways to find a niche to use for my next site. One of these sites is www.smartpassiveincome.com, which is run by a guy called Pat Flynn. The reason I’ve been looking at this site is due to a Niche Site ‘Duel’ he did with another passive income guy called Tyrone Shum (www.outsourcinglive.com). The two of them logged all the steps that they took in creating a new niche site … Continue reading
I’ve always been interested in creating websites and the tehcnologies used behind the scenes. However, I haven’t been able to pull together a decent enough idea to think it’d be worth creating. The VG Hub (and before that The Crimson Reapers) was fun to start and setup, and also helped teach me a lot of different web development stuff (mysql, php etc), but once I’d got it setup I didn’t manage to keep … Continue reading
Finally, I managed to get the last part of the ‘games you own’ database finished for my site The VG Hub. I was having trouble with creating the form to update the database of the games that people owned, admittedly the only thing that would make the thing work! I ended up having to make the input page a one at a time thing, whereas I was aiming to have all the games listed and the member be able to … Continue reading
Well that was an interesting race. A good few hours in the middle of nothing due to the rain. Then an epic drive by Button with 6 runs through the pits, 2 collisions, and a few hairy passes. I just hope that he doesn’t receive any penalties for the 2 collisions he had! *fingers crossed* Update (00:03) – No penalty for the Alonso incident, but, no word on the Lewis incident. Update (00:09) – And no penalty for the Hamilton … Continue reading
